I met with and received bids from three or four companies, including Village Construction.  After careful consideration, we opted to go with Village.  A large part of our decision was based on Jay’s professional approach to our project.  His bid was not the least cost option for us, but I felt that he offered the best total package for us.  Jay not only oversaw the replacement of the roof, but he managed the replacement of our gutters, some minor fence repair, a few window screens, resurfaced of our deck areas, and had our AC intakes “combed”.  He delivered on all counts.  I found that he was easy to contact and very responsive to any requests.  We did have some minor leaks at a couple of gutter joints – and Jay had those taken care of right away.  His follow through and follow up was excellent.

Jay also replaced the roof on my sister’s house (purely coincidental) and we referred him to some friends in our neighborhood.  Both parties were very satisfied. 

I hope that we don’t have to replace our roof for years to come, but I would definitely call Jay if we had to.  I am sure that you will find Jay a pleasure to work with and that you will be very satisfied with the results.

I want you to understand that I am a RAVING fan of Village Construction and will be happy to be a reference any time!  The crew was fast, efficient, courteous – a new roof in 1.5 days – incredible.  They were here until almost 10:00 last night, so I’d add “dedicated” to the list.  I’ve been on the phone all morning, so was just able to really do a walk around and they also did a great job cleaning up.  Very impressive!
